A great deal of hard work has seen Adel Jaumally in Première Euro section and Darshwana Mohit in Première Baccalauréat Français International (BFI) recognised as top in Africa and Mauritius for IGCSE English as a second language and IGCSE English language in the 2022 exam series. The highly motivated students are very proud of their outstanding results and this special award highlights their hard work and dedication.
“I feel proud to have ranked so highly in the IGCSE English as a Second Language exam, and feel motivated to continue to perform and excel in English. I think that the key is to persevere, even if it can become difficult and, sometimes, even boring (when doing the same exercises repeatedly). But, by sticking to it and working hard, I believe everyone can do it!” said Adel.
For Darshwana, receiving this award mean that she overcame an important step in her learning in the BFI programme. “Indeed, I first joined the SI with no knowledge of the English language, but now I can see I made extensive progress.”
Congratulations to both of you, the lycée des Mascareignes is very proud of your achievement.
